PUERTO ESCONDIDO

Puerto Escondido isn't the destination. It's part of the experience.

If you've spent years building, leading, providing, and carrying the weight of responsibility, you may have forgotten what it feels like to slow down long enough to hear yourself think.

That's what makes Puerto Escondido so powerful.

Its slower rhythm, natural beauty, and distance from the demands of everyday life create the space to step out of constant performance and reconnect with yourself. Not to escape your life, but to return to it with greater clarity, presence, and intention.

The Clearing is the work. Puerto Escondido is the environment that makes that work possible.

SAFETY

Is Puerto Escondido Safe?

This is one of the most common questions we receive.

The answer is yes.

Puerto Escondido has become a popular destination for international travelers, entrepreneurs, wellness seekers, surfers, and families from around the world.

Like any destination, awareness and common sense matter. However, the areas where we will stay, gather, dine, and explore are among the most visited and welcoming parts of Puerto.

Our accommodations, transportation, and experiences are carefully selected to ensure participants feel comfortable throughout the retreat.

Many visitors arrive for a week and end up staying much longer.

I was one of them.

SPECIAL EXPERIENCES

The Clearing is more than a series of conversations. It is a carefully curated experience designed to engage the mind, body, and spirit while creating space for meaningful reflection and connection.

Daily Movement & Recovery

Each morning begins with guided movement led by a master body movement specialist. These sessions are designed to help you reconnect with your body, improve mobility, increase awareness, and start each day with intention.

Oceanfront Reflection

Puerto Escondido provides a powerful backdrop for the work. Beach walks, quiet reflection, journaling, and unstructured time are intentionally woven into the experience, creating opportunities for insight that often emerge outside of formal sessions.

Temazcal Ceremony

During our time together, participants will take part in a traditional Temazcal experience. Often described as a ceremonial sweat lodge, the Temazcal has long been used as a space for reflection, renewal, release, and personal transformation.

Nourishment & Vitality

Meals throughout the retreat are intentionally selected to support energy, clarity, and well-being. Participants will also have access to FUPA Water each morning and evening as part of the daily wellness experience.

Brotherhood & Connection

Some of the most meaningful moments happen outside the scheduled sessions. Shared meals, honest conversations, and time spent together create opportunities for connection that many men have been missing for years.

Exploring Puerto Escondido

Throughout the experience, we will also enjoy select excursions and shared experiences that allow participants to connect with the culture, beauty, and rhythm of Puerto Escondido. This may include evenings in La Punta, oceanfront dining, and other carefully curated experiences designed to complement the work we are doing together.

Intentional Presence

For most of the retreat, alcohol is intentionally absent from the environment. The goal is not restriction. The goal is clarity. By removing distractions, participants are able to engage more fully with themselves, the conversations, and the experience. Our final evening together includes a celebratory dinner where those who choose may enjoy a drink as we reflect on the journey and the relationships that have been built.
